VibratorVTS Calibrators provide an NIST traceable, back-to-back comparison calibration of accelerometers and vibration transducers. Five force ratings are available.

The calibrator uses a dual leaf spring system to reduce acceleration waveform distortion to 5% or less in the frequency range from 5 Hz-50 Hz at 1/2 inch peak-peak displacement.

The nominal distortion from 100 Hz to 10 KHz is about 1% with three narrow peaks of about 3%. Lateral acceleration is below 10% up to about 4 KHz. Frequency range is 10 Hz to 5 KHz. Modifications to extend the frequency range up to 10 KHz are available (maximum force range is decreased to 80 lbf).
